Subscribing to The Good News Box
By subscribing to The Good News Box, you agree to receive a monthly faith-based box for your child containing activities aligned with a biblical theme.
To subscribe, visit our website and select a Monthly, 6-month, or 12-month subscription plan. Enter your payment information on our secure portal to complete your order. We will send a confirmation email with your payment collection date. Payment will be collected automatically each month based on your selected plan.
Your first box will ship on the confirmed date. Subsequent boxes will ship monthly according to our timeline. You are enrolling in an auto-renewing subscription. You must cancel by the deadline for each period to avoid being charged for the next. Subscription boxes are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be converted to other plans mid-subscription. All sales are final - no refunds or exchanges unless defective/damaged. We reserve the right to modify subscription plans, prices, and policies at any time. Subscription Renewal:
When you sign up for your subscription, you agree to be charged at the standard rate of the plan. Promotional codes used at sign-up do not apply to renewal fees. Payment will be deducted on the 1st of each month, and further attempts will be made if it fails due to insufficient funds.
Your subscription will automatically renew after the initial commitment, and you will be charged accordingly based on your preferred subscription plan – Monthly, 6-months, or 12-months. If you'd like to change your subscription plan or cancel your subscription, you can do so easily from your account dashboard before your final payment date. If you cancel mid-subscription, you will be charged for the remaining period.
Please review our refund/returns section to familiarize yourself with our policy regarding returning items for a refund. Please also note that your subscription will continue until you cancel it. If you fail to cancel your subscription before renewal, your subscription will be automatically renewed based on your previous subscription plan.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account. This will not initiate a refund if canceling before the renewal date. Subscriptions are based on the plan commitment you selected. If you cancel before completing the commitment period, you will still be charged for the remainder of that period. Discounts on the first month or for new subscriptions are contingent on completing the initial commitment period. If you cancel early, you will be charged the standard one-month rate for any discounted boxes received. We do not offer free or low-cost trials unless explicitly stated. Monthly plans can be canceled after the first month. 6-month and 12-month plans are billed on a monthly basis for the entire commitment period. Discount codes are one per household and cannot be shared without authorization. We reserve the right to cancel orders abusing discount codes. You are responsible for managing and canceling your subscription. There are important deadlines for cancellation based on your subscription plan:
Monthly Plans: You must cancel your monthly subscription before midnight before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next month. If you subscribe after the 20th, you will receive a box one month after the following month.
6-Month Plans: You must cancel your 6-month subscription before midnight before the renewal date of the 6th month in order to avoid being charged for the next 6-month period. Orders placed after the 20th calendar month will receive the first box one month after the following month for the next 6 months.
12-Month Plans: You must cancel your 12-month subscription before midnight before the renewal date of the 12th month in order to avoid being charged for the next 12-month period. Orders placed after the 20th calendar month will receive the first box one month after the following month for the next 12 months.
To summarize, cancellation requests must be completed online in your account by 11:59 p.m. before the date of renewal in the final month of your subscription period in order to avoid automatic renewal and charges for the next period. Please plan ahead to cancel by the renewal date to ensure your subscription ends when desired.

PURCHASE AND PAYMENT TERMS
Billing and Payments
When you sign up for The Good News Box, you will be automatically enrolled in an ongoing monthly subscription. This means that each month, on the same day you subscribed of every calendar month, your chosen payment method will be charged for the subscription amount. This ensures uninterrupted access to our service and a hassle-free experience. If you opt for a longer subscription period, such as a 6-month or 12-month, you will be charged a monthly payment for the entire duration of the subscription. Before each upcoming payment, we will send you a notification via email or a message on our platform to inform you of the upcoming charge. This allows you to review, cancel, and verify the payment details, ensuring a smooth and transparent process. In the event of a failed payment, we will immediately notify you of the issue. This may happen due to insufficient funds, expired credit cards, or any other payment-related issues. We understand that sometimes unexpected situations can arise, and we're here to help. Upon receiving a notification of a failed payment, we will make multiple attempts to deduct the outstanding amount from your chosen payment method within 24 hours. Our system will automatically retry the payment to minimize any inconvenience for you. Please ensure that you have sufficient funds or update your payment details as necessary to avoid any interruptions to your subscription. You have the freedom to cancel your subscription or membership with ease. To avoid future charges, simply log into your account and navigate to the cancellation section. We recommend canceling before your next billing cycle to prevent any further charges. Keep in mind that cancellations made after the upcoming payment is processed will not refund that charge, as it covers the access and services provided for the next subscription period.
Pricing/Errors
Product prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel any offer and correct errors, even after an order is submitted or your payment method has been charged. If your card is charged and your order is later canceled due to an error, we will issue a refund for the amount charged. Auto-renewal charges on their scheduled date are not considered errors eligible for refund.
Shipping and Risk of Loss
Except as outlined at purchase, shipping, and handling costs are included with your order. Shipping dates and delivery times are estimates only. UK orders are delivered free of charge, typically within 3-4 working days after shipping. You will receive shipping confirmation and tracking details when your order ships. We currently do not offer international shipping online. Please contact us for potential international delivery options. Additional charges will apply. Royal Mail is our preferred courier for all UK deliveries unless otherwise noted. If your box does not arrive within the first 5 working days of the month, please notify us by email. Title and risk of loss for goods passes to you when your order ships. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages after shipment. Insurance and signature confirmation can be purchased for an additional fee.
Returns and Refund Policy
All sales and subscriptions are final. Refunds are only provided within 14 days of payment if you change your mind. No refunds are given for canceling 6- or 12-month subscriptions mid-commitment period. Products must be returned unopened, unused, and intact for refund eligibility. You pay return shipping costs. We are not liable for unreceived returns. Only damaged or defective items will be replaced. Opened/used items are not eligible for refunds. Refunds are processed within 10-15 working days after written confirmation of return receipt.
LEGAL TERMS
Disclaimer of Warranties
We are not liable for any damages arising from contents in The Good News Box, including but not limited to personal injury, emotional distress, medical issues, or death to any person or animal. Children must be supervised with all products. Activities are done at your own risk. We are not liable for any injuries while using products or doing activities. You are responsible for determining if products are suitable for your child, including regarding allergies, choking hazards, and other risks. Those with health conditions should assess and adapt or avoid activities, as necessary. We take care to ensure all products meet certified safety standards, but use remains your responsibility.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall we be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages arising from use of the site, products, services, or materials accessed through the site. Total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount paid to us for the calendar month in question. UK law applies. All disputes must be settled in UK courts.
Your Personal Data
We take your security seriously. Payments are processed by a reputable third party, Stripe Europe Ltd (Data Protection Ref: 13901/A). You agree we may store necessary information with third-party processors. We are not liable for any third-party security breaches.
